After a weekend of reflection, I feel like I am ready to take on the world! The blog world, that is.
Kate and I had a chat on Friday afternoon and she really inspired me with her organization of blog posts. Even though this week is going to be pretty busy with work, I promise that things will really pick back up next week. (After Children’s Festival and Les Miserables!)
This weekend was the first weekend that I didn’t have to work since I started my job! I mostly relaxed, but I got a little shopping in there as well. I think I got a pretty great haul!

I also got a really cute polka dot top and pair of rose gold earrings from Forever 21.
Lately I’ve been trying to come up with healthy meals each night that don’t take too long to make. One of the sites I depend on is Skinny Taste. I’ve tried so many meals and haven’t found a bad one yet!

Sunday: Garlic Shrimp with Scallion Cilantro Rice
Monday: Sausage Stuffed Zucchini Boats
Tuesday: Porkchops and Applesauce
Wednesday: Leftover night!
Thursday: Autumn Penne Pasta with Sauteed Brussels Sprouts
Friday: Crockpot Red Beans and Rice
