You guys, this “autumn” is no joke. Everyone I know, including me, has been under the weather in the past couple of weeks. Isn’t it annoying? Everything from the flu to bronchitis. I think I got away with a mild sore throat, but it’s still lingering!
But enough of my whinging, I wanted to share with you guys all about our fabulous Topgolf Couples Night event from last week! If you weren’t able to make it out, we totally missed you. It was such a fun night out with our guys. It was great to be able to mingle with other bloggers and even non-blogger friends, and even better that their S.O.’s were able to come along.
Once again, Topgolf completely outdid themselves when it came to the food, drink and entertainment. When we arrived, we were greeted with lemonade and sangria to start off the night. So delicious!
And of course, in typical Topgolf fashion, the mooshi and other delectable appetizers followed. The buffalo spring rolls were fantastic!
After some mingling and drinks, we made our way up to the rooftop patio. This was the first time that I ventured up there, and I’m so sad that I waited so long! There were tons of couches, fire pits and even some live entertainment to enjoy with dinner.
And the food, you guys. THE FOOD. I never expected to have prime rib at Topgolf, but I would go back and have it again. I use this word lots, but I mean it when I say that it was AMAZING. We had roasted vegetables, curry potatoes, yummy salad, and the most delicious rolls that I’ve ever eaten. I mean that!
While we ate, we enjoyed music by a local acoustic artist who serenaded us with some pretty unique covers (rap and R&B gone acoustic? I’m a fan.) Of course after dinner, we made our way over to the bays and played some Topgolf. I was totally disappointed with my game, I was totally not as good as I usually am. I think it’s because I was so full from dinner! Bree, on the other hand, was great as always…
Most of the time when people think about going to Topgolf, they think about bringing a huge group of friends, which is totally fun! But after last week, I realized that Topgolf is something that you can enjoy as a couple as well. I had so much fun chatting with everyone that I totally forgot to snap a picture with my adorable hubby until the very end of the night… and it was a selfie!
A huge thank you to all of the lovely blogger ladies who came and brought their other halves!
