Blog design is such a personal thing. Something that might appeal to one person might totally be a turn off for someone else. I don’t know what it is, but when I first saw Laura’s blog, Our Life in the Queen City,
I fell in love. Even though I had just purchased my second professional design at the time, I knew that the next time that I needed a design, I was going straight to her. And so I did.
(Did I mention that I met Laura back in September with a few other bloggers for brunch? She’s on the left in the cute green dress along with Mason and Alexa to my right. She’s just as sweet in person as she is on her blog!)
I don’t think that I could have possibly been happier with the way that my design turned out. As always, I’m such a terrible person to work for, at least in my opinion. I have a very small idea of what I want, so I have no direction to give the designer. Laura and I must have been of the same mind because the first thing she sent me was almost exactly what I had in mind. It’s almost exactly what you see here.
So, to Laura– thank you so much for being such an amazing designer. Thank you for agreeing to redesign my blog, even though we both had trouble parting with my last design. Thank you for basically reading my mind on what I wanted and making it a reality so quickly! And most of all, thank you for helping me be excited about my blog again. I don’t think I could adequately put into words just how proud that I am to call this my design!
I also have to thank Laura for being extremely generous– she has offered one of my lucky readers a $75 credit to be used towards a new header, social media icons,
sidebar titles, social media enhancements, etc. Plus, she has a Black Friday sale going on right now for 15% off all design packages. How awesome is that?! Enter using the Rafflecopter widget below… and good luck!
