That Time We Were Married for Two Years

July 23, 2013

(I’m a little late posting today, but better late than never right?)

Today, I remember one of the best days of my life. Last year I took it hour by hour, remembering the timeline of the day. As I spent the afternoon with my love today, we talked about all the little moments that we could remember from that day.

We couldn’t stop kissing and smiling after the ceremony.

The lunch that my parents brought the bridal party (Zaxby’s, of course) and how I couldn’t eat any of it because I was so nervous.

Seeing Nick’s face for the first time as I walked down the aisle.

The long, hot car ride from the ceremony to the reception. (Why in the world we didn’t have a limo or have someone drive us is beyond me.)

We did a fake-out farewell so that we could get the bubbles in the light. It was so pretty!

Barely seeing my new husband at the reception because we were having so much fun seeing friends.

Realizing that we didn’t have our luggage when we got to the hotel and having to drive over to my parents’ house.

Not eating anything at the reception and being SO hungry afterwards.

This photo is really misleading. I really only had like two bites of those potatoes.

Happy anniversary, my lovely. I love you so much and I’m so happy that we’ve been married for these two years. It’s been two of the best of my life! Thanks for being my best friend. I can’t wait for an eternity more!
