It’s been a while since I shared my meal plan for this week, but I wanted to especially share this week since I’m featuring a few of my favorite bloggers on the menu this week!
A little background before I share with you all: I started meal planning after a few months of living in Texas. I realized that going to the store blind probably wasn’t the most efficient thing. Then, after a few months of that, I realized that making Pinterest inspired meals each week was hurting both our wallets and waistlines.
I discovered sites like Shrinking Kitchen and Skinnytaste that have both helped us find meals that wouldn’t break the bank or contribute to our weight gain. Shrinking Kitchen even features a weekly meal plan and grocery list that’s super helpful!
So after all that, here’s our meal plan for the week:
Saturday (last night): Easy Shrimp & White Bean Enchiladas from A. Liz Adventures
My thoughts: WOW. Hubby and I both went crazy over these! They were delicious and hubby wants to add them to our meal rotation.
Sunday: Baked Ziti from Meg. O on the Go
Monday: I have a work event so we’ll do leftover or dinner on our own.
Tuesday: Crunchy Fish Sticks from Shrinking Kitchen
Wednesday: Nick has class so we just do dinner on our own.
Thursday: Chicken Sausage with Harvest Rice from Dragonflight Dreams
