I’m still on a high from last night.
My voice may be cracking and my eyelids are droopy, but I’m in a better mood than I have been for weeks now. All because of last night. One of the best nights of my life.
I know y’all are probably thinking that I’m totally insane, but Paramore has been my favorite band since I was a senior in high school. That’s seven years people. And for seven years, they have gone on tour after tour and I have missed them. Not this time.
I knew the words to every song. I danced around like I didn’t care. I screamed at the top of my lungs like a teenager. As someone who works at a music venue, it was so nice to go to another venue and just enjoy myself without having to worry about getting pictures or video or anything like that. If you haven’t checked out their new album, DO IT. It’s amazing.
The only downside was that we had GA tickets, meaning we had to stand on the floor the whole night. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I wasn’t 5’3” and Mr. Clean (seriously, he looked like the mascot) wasn’t standing in front of me. It also wouldn’t have been so bad if everyone didn’t insist on recording EVERY SINGLE THING.
Here’s where I have to get on my soapbox for two seconds: Seriously people, enjoy the concert! Put your phones away. Not only does it take away from you enjoying the concert but it’s EXTREMELY rude to people behind you who can’t see the stage because of your huge Samsung Galaxy screen.
