Soft and Flowy For Thrive

March 14, 2016

Everyone has their power color. A color that makes them feel comfortable and is flattering on them. Navy is that color for me.

My wedding colors were navy and pink, and I probably would decorate my entire home in that color scheme as well. In fact, you may been seeing some changes on this here blog soon that reflect my love for this palette.

When Thrive came around in February, I knew that I needed something special to wear for our Friday night party. I’m not super girly when it comes to dressing up, so I needed something comfortable and cute. So, I ran over to Francesca’s at Market Street in The Woodlands. After literally trying on every single thing in the store (seriously, those girls had the patience of saints,) I was sold on this dress. (Really I was sold on it as soon as I tried it on, but I wanted to give the other dresses a fair shot!)

Since the party, I’ve worn this dress at least two times since. It’s easy to throw on, doesn’t winkle, and matches with pretty much all jewelry. What’s better than that?

What’s your power color?
