It seems like I always get inspired to blog in the evening nowadays. This might have to become a habit if I get the job!
My interview today went great! (I hope…) It was very short which normally indicates something not-so-good, but I think that I made an impression. I should know something by Friday so please keep your fingers crossed! I was going to take a picture of my outfit, but I was just so nervous that I couldn’t stand still!
The only thing was that I got caught in traffic on the way and seriously thought that I was going to be late. A truck somehow got stuck in the on ramp to the freeway. Please tell me how that happens! Oh, Houston traffic… it was my first experience with you and I do not look forward to meeting you again…
Somehow I just have these days where I am so productive (probably to make up for the days where I do absolutely NOTHING, which aren’t so few and far between). When I got home from my interview, I scrubbed the bathroom from top to bottom. I always feel so good having a clean bathroom: after all, it IS where you clean yourself!
I even made dinner, a Grilled Honey Lime Chicken recipe that I found on Pinterest. I haven’t developed an addiction for Pinterest just yet, but it is still very fun. So, let me share with you the recipe for Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday!
2 tsp lime juce
3 tbsp honey
1 lb. chicken breast (I used tenders)
The recipe says to let the chicken marinate for at least an hour. I did about an hour and it tasted great. I will probably do more time the next time I make it. It could be even better.
Since we didn’t want to pull our huge grill out, I made this on the George Foreman grill and it was still delicious! It was a very simple meal.
