If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve seen my cries for help when it comes to interior decorating. I don’t think I’m totally clueless, but I definitely don’t know how to change little things to improve the space! That’s why I need your help.
So let’s go on a tour, shall we?
One of the things I love about our living room is the arched entryway. It gives the room some character and looks so pretty!
I absolutely love our breakfast nook. We’ve eaten there more times than we ever did when the table was against the wall of our old apartment.
Ignore the dog toys and Anabelle. She wanted to get in on the photos too!
I know we need a new couch. As awesome as it is to have a sofa bed,
plaid is an extremely hard pattern to decorate around. I know lots of
people will probably suggest slipcovers, but all of the ones I’ve seen at Target
have been upwards of $80 and that’s just a little too much. Any ideas of cheaper solution?
Yes, there are supposed to be two chairs. We currently don’t have a desk chair so we’re having to improvise. (Houston bloggers– anyone have a desk chair they want to get rid of?!)
I’m open to absolutely any suggestions you may have as far as moving furniture, painting (I think we can paint…), etc. We just can’t do anything too permanent since we’re renting the place.
I don’t know if you all ever saw our old place but this apartment is definitely a million times better! More windows, more spacious, more open. Just overall more awesome. It actually feels like a home. Now if only I knew how to decorate!
So… what would you do?
