A New Project for Sorority Women & Alum

June 4, 2012

I don’t know if I’m the only one that does this, but I get UBER excited when I find a blogger that’s Greek. (Extra points if she’s a member of my sorority!) I love that connection that you have to each other and your respective organizations, like a little secret of how awesome being Greek is.I know I’ve graduated, but you all know how passionate I am about being involved for life.

With that, I decided to undertake a little project. It started out as a way to connect Delta Zeta bloggers. However, I quickly realized that there were so many other sorority women that wanted the same kind of… database? Network? I don’t really know the word you’d use to describe it.

That’s how I created Being Greek (and yes, I did the blog design myself. I’m kind of shocked at how it turned out!) Right now I’m just getting information from bloggers so that I can list them. Want to be listed? Head over to the blog and click “Join us!” on the sidebar.

I have to credit Meghan (Alpha Omicron Pi) and Amber (Chi Omega) for coming up with the name. I was really struggling and they helped me out!

I also made a button for bloggers to display if they’re interested!

Being Greek
<div align="center"><a href="http://being-greek.blogspot.com/" title="Being Greek"><img src="http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn282/inlovesince22808/buttonBG-1.png" alt="Being Greek" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Does this sound like something you’d be interested in (if you’re Greek)?
Let me know! I’m very interested in hearing your thoughts!

P.S. Tell me if you add the button to your blog! I’ll recognize you in some way :)
