My (Not So) Personal Style Philosophy (with Guns and Savvy)

If I had to describe “my style” in one word, it would be comfort. The whole “beauty is pain” thing? I’m not buying it. It’s taken quite a while, but I’ve decided that I just don’t have a “personal style.” Much like my iTunes library, my closet is totally eclectic. Pieces from J. Crew and Kohls abound with pieces from boutiques like Langford Market sprinkled in between make for a pretty diverse wardrobe. Heck, there are even a few concert and comic book tees in there too.

As for jewelry, I don’t usually wear much other than my wedding rings. But when I find a store that I like, I tend to become pretty obsessed. I recently stumbled upon Guns and Savvy online, which just so happens to be owned by a friend of mine from college (hi Laura!), who just so happened to be one of the most stylish people I knew while in college. Go figure!

I quickly fell in love with the bohemian style of the handcrafted
beauties. It looked like something that I’d find in an upscale boutique
or fancy online store. I’m wearing The Neon Boho and The Turquoise Boho in this post, but I can’t wait to order The Statement Boho and The Raging Bull.

And you can’t order just one (I mean, technically you can, but why would you want to?!) These necklaces are perfect for layering OR worn individually. This is just one outfit I’ve paired it with, but I’ve worn it with both a maxi dress and jeans/a loose tee.

Lucky you, Guns and Savvy is offering 15% off for The Observant Turtle readers! Just use code “blogger” when you check out and you’ll receive your discount. I’m telling y’all, you need to jump on this!

(And here’s a silly photo of me because why not? All photo credit goes to Meg Cady Photography, my saint and saving grace.)

*I was not compensated for this post. I purchased these necklaces with my own money, with a discount provided by Guns and Savvy. All opinions are my own!*

Do you have a personal style philosophy?
