Hi everyone! I hope you aren’t missing the weekend too much… ;)
I’m so proud of myself; I’ve been so good about cooking dinner for the past couple of weeks. Sure I’ve done old favorites like spaghetti, but I’ve also done some pretty great Pinterest recipes (see post #1 and post #2).
Tonight, however, I had to pull out an oldie but goodie that I learned from none other than my wonderful cook of a mother. She made this so many times while I was growing up, and it’s cheap for young people on a budget like me!
(I fail and forgot to take a picture)
1-box Chef Boyardee pizza kit
(yes, I’m not kidding)
(It’s only $2.50-ish and includes dough, parmesan cheese, and pizza sauce)
Obviously the rest depends on your personal tastes, but we had:
Canned black olives
Basically, you just follow the recipe on the box, adding whatever toppings you like.
This pizza is something that you have never tasted before, I promise!
I eat it with a fork, and a salad to complement the meal.
I really hope that you guys try this some day. The pizza kit is super cheap and it’s very yummy!
Also, I wanted to share with you all my newest read: Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster.
So far, it is GREAT. I’m about halfway through and it’s such a fun read. It’s definitely different than my last read (Hunger Games trilogy- which was UH-MAZING). I definitely suggest reading it. (After this book, I have to grab the latest book for the Cover2Cover book club!) Have any of you read this book? Thoughts? (No spoilers!)
Lastly, I was finally able to develop somewhat of a decent looking button. (thanks to Ashley at Mister G and Me
seeing my pleas on Twitter!) It sure would mean a lot if you guys could grab it. Let me know if you do and I’ll be glad to put yours on the side of my blog as well!
Have a great Tuesday! xx
