Laziness is a virtue… right?

August 27, 2012

Hello lovelies! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

Ours was pretty low key. What was supposed to be a weekend of laundry, cleaning, and organizing turned into a weekend of vegging out and watching movies… what can ya do?
On Saturday we took Anabelle to a new dog park. (We tried another one before, it was not so good.) This dog park was so much fun! They had a little fire hydrant that blew out mist. Anabelle LOVED that. She got nice and soaking wet! Unfortunately it started to rain on us so we had to leave early, but I know that our little girl loved it.
(on the way back home)

We realized on the drive back that our little pup was going to smell like a wet dog if we didn’t give her a bath! We took her over to the car wash area in our apartment complex and hosed her down. I felt like I had a baby! She was so good and calm. I got totally soaked, but I expected it…
Since our little baby was pooped from the busy day, we got dressed and went to dinner. Olive Garden, y’all. Be a food snob all you want, but that place is GOOD.
Sunday was a lazy day. We basically spent the entire day watching tv (Gossip Girl, America’s Next Top Model, the new Star Trek movie and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, a Bond movie. One movie was great, the other… not so much) and snacking (chips, pretzels, LOTS of pickles, and cheese. Om nom nom.)
There was also lots of this:

Oh! I almost forgot to mention… I got a new skirt at Target. It was $3.88. Yes, you read that right. Less than four bucks! I don’t have a picture today but I’ll be sure to share it with you soon. They have some amazing deals going on in their clearance sections right now. You need to go check it out!

This week is my last week at my current job. We usually get off early the business day before a holiday so hopefully we’ll only have a half day on Friday and I’ve have a 3.5 day weekend! Then on Tuesday I start the new job. SO EXCITED Y’ALL.

What did you do this weekend? Have you scored any really good deals lately?
