Let's rewind to last Friday. Meg tweeted about wanting to do happy hour, so I took her up on it! I arrived a few minutes before she did and decided to duck into the J. Crew right near where we were meeting. (Have I mentioned that I'm the mayor of that location on Foursquare? I swear I don't go that often!)
I decided to just browse around and see what I could find. All of the fall pieces were adorable as always, and just as expensive as they are known to be. I finally make my way back to the sale section and what to my little eyes did appear but... 50% off all sale items. HECK. YES. I started scooping up one of everything. I'm pretty sure the associate that was helping me thought I was a little cray cray.
By the end of it, I scooped up a pair of pink "camping socks" (I'll just wear them cause they're comfy... I'm not going camping...) and a pair of purple striped socks. I also grabbed these two pairs of pants:

They both are in serious need of some hemming, but I just couldn't resist when I saw the price tag. I got each pair of pants for less than $13 each. They were originally $128 each. Um... WHAT. Brand new J. Crew? $35 for two pairs of pants PLUS two pairs of socks? I'll take it!

I had been drooling over the monogrammed necklaces for quite some time but just couldn't bring myself to spend $100 on a casual necklace. Well, my friends, these necklaces were only $7 each! A little birdy told me that JC Penny has them on sale now for $3. I've had so many people mistake them for the monogrammed ones, even in person! I wore it to the January blogger meetup and got so many compliments on it.

Also I wish all clothes were free. If I were president for a day (ummmm NEW BLOG POST IDEA!) I would make all clothes free.

I love deals! I rarely buy anything full price because if I do, I go back and it's on sale!

I loved when you posted the monogram necklaces! Bought one for myself and since I loved the straight-letter ones so much, bought an H for a coworker for Christmas and she loves it.
And as far as deals, I have another coworker who knows all the best resale shops and I got a J. Crew wool blazer from one for $10 :)
I may need to make a run by JC Penny on the way home today. I love the monogrammed look!
While most would boast about the high price they paid for something, I'm more like you -- I boast about a deal...a sale...a steal. I'm so jelly you found the deals without me. :)
