That Time I Wore Dots and Mustard

I'm definitely not a fashion blogger by any means. I've mentioned many times that I don't feel comfortable spending tons of money on a single piece of clothing. The one thing I do know is how to find gems amongst the dirt.

About this time last year, Old Navy really started turning it around. I basically lived in that store while I was in middle school, but during high school and college, I felt like their clothing was pretty poor quality. I remember seeing on someone's blog (probably College Prepster) some of the pieces that Old Navy had last spring, and ran to my nearest store to check it out.

One of the cutest pieces I scored was this navy top with red, tan, and mustard dots. It's so lightweight, perfect for Houston weather in the spring and summer.

I also scored these mustard pants from Kohls, another store that is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I actually found these on the clearance rack! I could probably live in these pants, they are seriously so comfortable.

Thanks again to Meg for my pictures!

Top: Old Navy
Mustard pants: Kohl's
(use code TENFORBLOG through March 9th for 10% off!)
Wedges: TJ Maxx
Necklace: JC Penny
(everyone mistakes this necklace for the $100 customized one... it was only $7!)

(I was mid-fall in this picture....)
(Also, this basically explains my life...)

What are some of your favorite stores to find hidden gems?

I think I need to run to Kohl's and search for those pants! They look amazing on you. I need some yellow ones, too.

Super cute outfit girl! I'm so glad Old Navy turned it around because their clothes are reasonably priced & cute! I haven't been to Kohl's in forever but I think I need to go back soon because I've seen some cute pieces from there lately!
