That Time I Missed My Blogaversary

One year and six days ago, I began regularly blogging here at this humble little blog of mine. [I had a few posts before then, but they were mostly me saying that I didn't know what to write about.]

I began with the intention of meeting new people once I moved to Houston, but it became so much more than I could ever imagine.

Because of blogging, I've become more confident. I'm not afraid to sent a cold email to my favorite companies, asking if they would work with me on a post. I've actually developed a fashion sense post-college and (mostly) started dressing like an adult.

Because of blogging, I have learned so much about myself and others. I've learned that I'm not the only one that feels pressured by the material things that the world can get caught up in.

Because of blogging, I've learned that just because you've never met someone in "real life" doesn't mean that you can't feel like you've known them your entire life. (Here's looking at you Betsy, Katie, Elisabeth and so many others!)

Because of blogging, I've met some pretty awesome girls.

To those of you who have been with me since the beginning, thank you. To those of you who are just joining in, you better strap in-- 2013 is going to be a pretty awesome year. There are some amazing things coming to this little blog! So hold on tight!
