I'm really excited for this link up today for three reasons. First of all, my husband sings this line from the song ALL. THE. TIME. Second, I seriously tweet about once a day asking if I'm the only one that does something. Third, I love Michelle! I don't often participate in link-ups but this one was just too good to pass up.
Okay, let's get started!
- If I wake up in the middle of the night, I'm always convinced that there is someone in our apartment. I will get out of bed, turn on all the lights, and look in all of the rooms/closets. I'll also check to see if the doors are locked. Does that make me crazy?
- Recently, I've become a bit of a germophobe outside of my own house. For example, when I was helping out with sorority recruitment, we had to chop up some frozen juice on the counter of the kitchen in a sorority house. I refused to drink it because I was so grossed out. Does that make me crazy?
- I take baths more often than showers. Growing up, I didn't have a shower until I was 12 years old. We had one of those porcelain claw tubs in our old house until we moved into a brand new house with a shower/tub combo. Still, I only really take a shower if I have to wash my hair. Does that make me crazy?
- I didn't understand football until about 2 years ago. My dad would watch games and I would just sit there. I didn't know what any of the calls meant or what a "down" was. In the same vein, back in South Carolina we have the Clemson vs. South Carolina rivalry, but I like both teams. Does that make me crazy?
- I love politics. Seriously, I love it. I would post about it every single day on the blog if I knew that you all wouldn't leave me for it! It interests me so much and I love to debate and talk to others about it. I don't think it's a topic that should be taboo and I think that I should be able to post about it on my Twitter and Facebook pages without people getting feisty about it. Does that make me crazy?
- I get really, really scared of spiders. No, you don't understand. I can't even see them on tv, a picture of them, even cartoon spiders creep me the eff out. Does that make me crazy?

Ha! Love this post! It's such a creative idea!
I have to say, though, that I think the juice thing is gross. I definitely wouldn't be drinking it either.
I'm really interested in politics. Only recently, though. I'd love to talk about it with people (and often do with Brian), but everyone else gets so defensive! It's just talking - everyone is entitled to their own opnions!
And I'm the same way with spiders. I get goosebumps everytime I even see one or it comes up in conversation, etc. And I start sweating if I have to kill one (which, with the combination of goosebumps, feels so weird) - TMI? Sorry.
Anyway, you aren't crazy! Ha!

I love this series! I didn't know you were that into politics! Go girl!
The way you are with spiders is how I am with snakes.
Oh my goodness, I do the same thing with checking the doors and stuff! not every time I wake up, but if I can't tell what woke me up? Definitely.
I'm also the same way about politics, but I'm not looking to tear people down because of their opinions and around here that seems to be what most people do, so I don't usually bring it up.
Before I go to bed I check all the locks multiple times. I always hear "strange" noises in the middle of the night and make my hubby go check to see what it is.
Oh the political debate. Technically it's your blog so you should talk about whatever you want, but sometimes its not worth the aggravation of dealing with all the negative Nancys.
I didn't really get into football until a few years ago either. Now I love it! I have always been a diehard Michigan fan, though. There is no love lost between me and Michigan State and DEFINITELY none lost between me and Ohio State.
I'm with you on the spiders. Last night I came home around 1130pm from work and stood outside my garage for a number of minutes in complete helplessness because there was a spiderweb right in front of the keypad to open the garage and I. Was. Not. Walking. Through. It. All I have to say is thank heaven I still had my ice scraper in my car from last winter.
If you ever want someone to talk politics with, shoot me an email! I would love to discuss it a little more just to help me figure out what I think about it all. I don't love it but I do think good discussion about it is necessary if people are really going to be challenged to consider what's best for the country!
haha love this. you might be a leeeetle crazy, but not for any of these things :)
baths actually gross me out a bit. I usually have to take a shower and get clean before I take a luxurious bath - otherwise I feel like I'm sitting in my own dirt! Does that make me crazy?
hehe - and you know you're ALWAYS welcome to talk politics with me!
You might be a little crazy, lol, but so am I...
I like to talk about politics but sometimes, well mostly, I end up getting offended by the other person because they are so widely this way that it insults other people. I've had to hold my tongue, good lord, hold-my-tongue from time to time to save the friendship. So I usually try not to talk about it. Haha... does that make me crazy?
What a cute link-up! I wish I could take a bath all the time, but I know I'd lose so much time, because I'd never get out! Haha!
haha my husband is the same way with spiders! Hes like Spider oh hold on... dead! He spider sprays everything!!
I hate spiders!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!! You are definitely not cray!!!!!! And I think you are pretty great yourself, pretty girl!!! Thanks for linking up!!!
I can't believe no one else commented on the football thing... I didn't start to "get" it til a few years ago myself, after spending many Sundays at home with the husband, and I was in BAND food goodness sake!
You sound quite normal to me! Oh my gosh, if I hear a noise in the night, I FREEZE. I will make sure I'm completely covered by the blanket ('cause it'll obviously save me from anything) and just hope it goes away soon.
